Dane Curley is a music producer, songwriter, rapper, and electronic artist living in Brooklyn, New York, who got his start in underground rap music.
His album of lyrics-focused rap songs "Chain of Events" (2010) received thousands of MP3 downloads (following countless mixtape appearances in America and Norway). Later, Dane's experimental fusions of underground electronic music & indie hip hop would inspire some of Pakistan's greatest music artists, who regularly collaborate with him in that genre.
Today, Dane is focused on electronica and soundtrack music, having produced the groundbreaking psychedelic music project known as "The Cosmic Collaboration Machine" (April 19, 2024), and composing the soundtrack to a video game (TBA).
The base style of the CCM Double Album is psychedelic electronica.
Songs take a highly varied multitude of forms and styles, however, and appear with tempos as low as 66bpm and high as 147.
These include in no particular order: Electronica, Psychedelic Rock, Funky House, Tribal, Psytrance, IDM/Experimental, Downtempo+Metal, Electronica+Rap, EDM Trap, Chillout/Ambient Piano, Downtempo Psytrance, PsyDub-esque, and more.

OR - Show your support by Purchasing a Vinyl!
The Cosmic Collaboration Machine will be available on Beatport for DJs, Producers, and Artists to use in their live acts.
With growing interest, Dane would consider putting together a live show experience of the CCM, but he cannot promise your favorite artist from the project would participate. More likely, Dane will incorporate CCM music in his own live sets, as the collaborating artists may use their individual songs within theirs.
No.
Production costs on The Cosmic Collaboration Machine were very high, vinyl is very expensive, and the time commitment of unpaid hours was absolutely massive and probably unthinkable for most people in most life situations. Dane is in the unique position to work on this project on a near full-time basis without pay.
Without the generosity of countless musicians (players and songwriters), who freely contribute their time, music, and energy, and fans who preordered the vinyl 2LP, Dane would not have been able to produce the CCM.
By purchasing the Vinyl version or donating now, you help Dane breakeven on costs (vinyl production, packaging, art, website, shipping, mastering, etc.), and encourage him to produce a sequel effort (TBA?). The Cosmic Remixing Machine project has already been unlocked!
No.
And that is an emphatic "No!"
The CCM was created painstakingly from scratch at Dane Curley's direction as lead producer, and each song was made specifically for inclusion on this project. It is not a "Various Artists" or "Compilation" album.
In fact, only one song on the CCM has ever been released before, and only as a digital single. Even that song was remastered anew for inclusion on the CCM.
As such, artists were at times invited to depart from their usual genres or styles, to mingle with other artists of different perspectives and let the spirit of collaboration supersede their regular plans!
No.
While musicians should be paid for their work, the commercial state of the music industry is not prone to profitability for independent passion projects like ours.
All featured artists appear courtesy of themselves and/or their record labels and have joined the CCM in support of Dane's great idea: that we can create great music by blending our perspectives with other great artists, across cultures, time-zones, genres and styles, using the tools of the Internet. In the unlikely event that profits are amassed, the proceeds will fuel scaling The CCM to a wider audience and funding a sequel project. Please consider donating.
The CCM began production in Mid-August 2023 and entered post-production in February 2024. It released April 19th, 2024.
